PETALING JAYA: A video of a man and woman, believed to be a headmaster and teacher, involved in a passionate session of hugging and kissing in what appears to be a classroom, has gone viral on social media.

According to Berita Harian, the eight-minute long video surfaced a week ago on Facebook.

It shows a middle-aged man and a tudung-clad woman exchanging kisses and cuddling each other. The description to the original video, uploaded by Facebook user Jones Jangkat describe the duo as a headmaster and school teacher, but there is no verification on this claim.

It is also unclear whether the couple portrayed in the video are Malaysians.

The video, has garnered 1.5 million views and over 29,500 shares in just over a week after it was uploaded.

The Malay daily spoke to the National Union of Teaching Profession (NUTP) president Kamarozaman Abd Razak, who said investigations were underway to verify the video.

“If the incident did happen, it is shameful. We need to investigate the matter since it involves the school and the district education office,” he was quoted.
